The adventure begins

Hello there!

 

Here it is, the beginning of the most anticipated journey of my life. I've only been planning this for, 10 years? Most likely more.

 

How lovely, how surreal, how outrageous.

 

To those of you who:

• calmed me through the flight booking, and helped me calmly rebook when I had the wrong dates;
• spoke of your own travels offering advice and wisdom;
• sat with me as I showed you maps of the coast, where my family is from;
• guided me to choose wisely and protect myself;
• tilted your head when I told you I didn't have anything booked yet;
• pointed me in the right direction when I had no idea what to pack;
• are reading this right now... still supporting me.

 

To you. To the many of you. My sincerest thanks.


There are no words to express how all these little moments over the past weeks, months, and years have guided me here, and how much this all means to me. I hope you can enjoy with me this journey, as you have all had a part in getting me to the me I am today.
